COVID-19 Check Routing Guidance

RSP staff are telecommuting and have limited access to the mail directed to 21 N. Park Street while COVID-19 social distancing practices are in place. We expect to be able to retrieve checks from RSP’s mail once a week on Tuesday afternoons. During this unusual period of time, please send any sponsored program checks, including clinical trial checks, to the address below. This is the US Bank lockbox address and is the preferred address for all sponsored program payments:

For Clinical Trial Checks:

We recommend keeping a log of the checks you send to the lockbox for tracking purposes (e.g. sponsor, check number, check amount and check date). If you do that electronically and want to share it with us, please send it to ct_invoices@rsp.wisc.edu.

US Bank will deposit the checks and create an electronic image of it and all of the documentation that came with it. RSP Revenue Management staff will see this information in our document imaging system the following day and be able to process the payment with that information. Payments will be recorded as revenue on the Clinical Trial projects as they are received.
