Bob Andresen Research Administration Award

The Bob Andresen Research Administration Award is made annually in memory of our cherished colleague. Bob was a friend, mentor, and pundit for Research & Sponsored Programs, UW campus, and the international community of research administrators. He was a leader in RSP from July 9, 1984, to November 19, 2020. This annual award is hereby established to recognize outstanding service, dedication, and excellence in research administration at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Recipients of the award will be administrators who represent the qualities of outstanding service, dedication, and excellence in the profession. In memory of Bob’s exceptional dedication to research administration, the award will be presented annually at the Symposium to a representative of the UW-Madison research administration community. Recipients will receive the award certificate and a monetary award to be used toward professional development in the field.
